Bleh.

WGA Strike 2007
I've been running at half steam since Friday night. Went home early with a headache, woke up sick on Saturday, spent all day in bed (instead of meeting an awesome new baby,) and ended that super-fun day with a migraine, then spent all of Sunday in bed as well. Stayed in Monday night, last night, tonight, tomorrow night. Between general feeling like poo, the dreary weather, and the time change-up that now makes most of my outside hours dark ones it's a bleh week here. And my head hurts and I feel awful and I just want to go home, but if I leave now I'll run into the picketers on Riverside. And I cannot deal with crossing a picket line to leave work right now. I am not able to hang at this time, yo. So I'll stay at my desk like a good little coward and wait for 5pm when they all go home. Bleh.

This week blows.

Isn't crossing a picket line to GO HOME okay? :)

They're legally allowed to stop my car for 15 seconds to protest me and everything else. And those 15 seconds would probably reduce me to tears right about now. Cause I totally agree with them and I'm a good little Teamster and all that, but right now I really just want my bed and some cocoa and please God that there's some more Doctor Who in my mailbox when I get home tonight.

Yeah, I see your point. At least I do so long as only Desperate Housewives is jeopardized! LOL

I dunno. They're both digging their heels. I think Netflix is going to get increasing amounts of my money in the weeks to come.

Some variety/late night/reality shows are going on hoping they can wing it and improvise everything. It's turning out horribly, but they're trying it. So it may still happen?

boo! Hope you're feeling better. Our little guy is finally getting over his stuffy nose, thank goodness. No worries, we'll try to keep him cute until you can come meet him. After that-no promises. :)

Sorry about hiding from the picketers but don't feel bad, I'd probably do the same thing. Or! You could make a poster with some pro-strike slogan and run out, join them for a few minutes, and then put it in the passenger's seat as you drive out?

And I'm curious, but who makes sure they only stop you for 15 seconds? Oi vey.

Well, good luck and stay safe, rest whenever you can. Get better soon!
