1. New development: I cannot eat an apple these days without a piece of cheddar cheese. It started when Karen's Mom and I took Julia to the Children's Museum and I had a great big apple for lunch while Karen's Mom kept handing me lovely huge chunks of cheddar as I drove. Bite of apple - yum - bite of cheddar - yum - munch munch munch together. Big Yum.

Back from vacation. Back at work. Back doing my best at life. It's not so thrilling to sleep in your own bed for the first time in eight days and realize it's the most uncomfortable bed you've been in over the last week. Mattress pad, stat.

4.30am - ( I wake up happy. )

ooh. um. yum. just discovered why I loved the Phantom so much. he's Scottish, and was mostly raised in Ireland. two counts of oh my wow right there. apparently Mr. Butler is also in "Mrs. Brown," which I have and will rewatch tonight if the netflix have not arrived, so I can go be obsessed quietly at home and stop annoying y'all.

supervisor went home early with redrimmed eyes and the paltry eight loans that came in today have all been done, so... no more excuses.
